FNLM convenes a group of publisher representatives responsible for publishing biomedical content and from organizations who use a variety of publishing models, open access, subscription access, for profit and non-profit, international, regional or U.S. based.  The group also includes someone from the medical library community.

FNLM invites this group to come together with a group of NLM staff on a periodic basis to discuss issues and concerns of common interest. The purpose of these discussions is to increase the participants’ understanding of how to work together as effectively as possible to bring quality health and scientific information to scientists, researchers, clinicians, and others.

The FNLM works with NLM staff to create agendas and the group will meet at NLM two or three times a year.
